Crawl under the truck on the driver's side. You will see a cable with a "turnbuckle" heading to the rear axle housing. Within this "turnbuckle", you will see two nuts on a threaded rod....loosen the furthest to the rear, this is known as a lock-nut. Then tighten the forward nut until the brakes hold to satisfaction, then tighten the rear nut up against the front nut, you will need two wrenches for this. once tight, you should be "good to go".
The switch at the parking brake in the cab needs adjustment, just loosen the retaining nut and move it closer to the pedal then tighten.

look under driver side by ddoor,unscrew lock nut and tighten other screw until brake is good,then tighten lock nut.
A transmission from a 1993 Toyota pickup will fit into a 1994 Toyota pickup. The Toyota transmission will not fit in to other makes and models of pickups.
On the inside of the passenger side frame rail just under the door, you'll see a threaded connection at the cable there.
look under passenger side between front and rear tire u will see adjuster cable ,unscrew lock nut and tighten other nutuntil it feels ok then tighten lock nut
