Sounds like you have the wrong bearing shells.
normally a bearing that is going bad - does the sound change with vehicle speed? Then it's a wheel bearing, or if stick shift it could be form the transmission - a bad bearing there. If wheel bearing sometimes you can hear it if turn wheel hard R or L & if so whatever way you turn wheel is the side that is bad. If this is so, & high miles replace BOTH wheel bearings
