1998 Chevy Blazers have all of the timing controlled by the oem computer. No adjustment is ever needed. If you want to make a change, it would require accessing the computer through the ALDL and re-mapping the chip. Very pricey.

The ERG valve is located on the front of the engine on a 1998 Chevy Blazer V6 4.3L. It is near the top bolted to the intake manifold.
it is not adjustable, it is controlled by the computer.
Change one at a time to avoid mixing up the firing order.

V6. The Lumina from 1995 to 2001 only came in a V6. There were 3 sizes available though, a 3.1L, a 3.4L, and a 3.8L.
The 1998 Chevy S-10 Blazer did not come equipped with a 2.8 V6. It has a 4.3 V6. The firing order of the 4.3 V6 is 1-6-5-4-3-2. The firing order of the 2.8 V6 is 1-2-3-4-5-6.
2.8 & 4.3 V6. You can also install a small block Chevy V8.
