I don't think you can. I've tried trading between gameboy advance and gameboy games, it didn't work. *you CAN'T. Generation 2 games cannot communicate to Generation 3 or later due to storage differences. Sorry :[ I found out the hard way when i tried trading between Gold and Emerald. Though Crystal CAN trade with Gold, and Silver. (idk if Crystal can do this but Gold can also Time Trade backwards with Red, Yellow and Blue.)
You should link cable.
To trade Pokemon from Pokemon Crystal version to another version of Crystal you need to use a link cable. You can also battle this way.
no you can only trade using a game boy to a game boy with the link cable.
Sorry you can't.
Well Pokemon Crystal Version (Trust me the version at the end is part of its name.) is a Generation II game and Pokemon FireRed Is a Generation III so no you cant trade in between those two games. But you can trade Pokemon FireRed with LeafGreen, Ruby, Sapphire and Emerald. And you can trade Pokemon Crystal with Pokemon Gold and Silver Versions.
NO SORRY YOU CANT TRADE WITH POKEMON CRYSTAL AND FIRERED AND I HAVE TRIED AND IT DOSENT WORK YOU SEE FIRERED IS AN GBA(GAMEBOY ADVANCE) AND CRYSTAL IS GBC(GAMEBOY COLOR)AND THEY ARE'NT COMPITABLE TO EATCH OTHER SO SORRY DUDE I HOPE YOU UNDERSTAND :D:P FROM LOLPICKET
You need a Link Cable that is a cable that connects 2 GBA's to eachother, and you would need another Pokemon Firered, Pokemon Sapphire, Pokemon Ruby, or Pokemon Emerald game.
what you do is go to the Pokemon center and go to the cable connection booththen your connected you can now trade with freindsyou need the link cable
yes with wireless adapters or a link cable
No, you cannot trade from the old Gameboy Colour Pokemon games to LeafGreen, FireRed, Sapphire, Ruby, or Emerald.
You have to trade dratini from Pokemon leaf green or firered (not sure if firered has it) using a gamelink cable or wireless adapter.
No silver is not compatible with firered.
No you need the original GB cable.
Trade it from Gold, Crystal or Silver is the only way I know of.
No. The Nintendo DS doesn't have a slot for a cable trade anyway.
yes but you need a link-cable. but you cant trade a new Pokemon to the older games
You need a Game Boy color link cable.
I hear you can trade from crystal to sapphire. You have to have two gameboy advances, a gba link cable, and in crystal you have to go to the time machine.
you need a gameboy advance link cable
you need a special link cable though
No one in the game trades you rattata nor pidgey if you want to trade those Pokemon use a link cable or wireless adapter to trade with leafgreen or another firered.
You can trade it with yourself if you have another Pokemon game, another gameboy, and a cable connect cord. I think you do it at a Poke Center where the cable club is.
You can only trade it from another game: Gold, Silver, Crystal or Emerald.
