I have a dachshund myself to train them its hard but fun! you HAVE to be aware of their spines though some dachshunds need operations to fix their spines but as long as your careful it will be fine some dachshunds are quick and easy to train but some just don't understand with a Young puppy don't train it until after a week since its been at home other than that you don't want to leave it to late or your dog just wont understand in the first week you have your new puppy toilet train it buy some puppy pee mats from a pet shop and then it should understand how to go after that week start taking outside in your garden then teach it to sit and stay
