Well you don't actually want your dog to poop on the mat you want it to poop outside so when it poops in the house just shout at it and smack it, this might seem cruel but it will pay off then move the poo into the garden if you have one and it will see the poo there and no it has not got told off and do it there instead or if you don't have a garden then get scented mats that make the dog want to go on it and give it a treat when it does and then start taking the dog on longer walks and it will not hold it in so when it does the toilet praise it and give it treats.

Well, there is only really one way. When any breed of dog pees on the floor you stick its head right up to the pee so he/she can smell and see it. Then you shout "Bad Girl/BOY!!" Whenever he/she pees on mat praise them!
