using card reader....
i would transfer data from one Memory stick to another by putting the files on a computer and then copy + paste on other memory stick! I have done this as my original M Stick was damaged and wanted to transfer file to a new one but my Sony camera does not read it... I can only read the files on the computer.. Why..? Any suggestions Tks
No. Memory Stick Pro = Memory Stick + greater maximum storage capacity and faster file transfer speeds; Memory Stick Duo = smaller (in physical size) Memory Stick. Now you can easily guess what Pro (+) Duo means :).M.
Page 21 of the owners manual indicates the 4GB is the larges stick that the camera can use. However I believe it is talking about the CF memory stick not the Sony memory stick. I purchased a 4G Sony memory stick and the camera refused to recognize it. I do have a 2G Sony stick in the camera that works just fine. I also have a 2G CF stick that has no problem with the camera.
Any sony memory stick will work.
Yes you can. As long as it is compatible a memory stick pro duo.
A Sony Cybershot Memory Stick is a camera accessory which can be purchased at most camera stores. The memory stick can also be found in many electronic stores.
All that you need to hook up the Sony DCR-DVD650 is just the USB cord that Sony packages with the Camera. The other way to transfer your movies is a memory stick and stick reader on the computer.
On sony camcorders, you can record video as well as sound. Usually you can do both together. You will save these to a memory stick, then can transfer to other devices such as a computer.
Sony's M2 memory stick only works with Sony products.However they seem to have abandoned the format for microSD.
