Most memory cards, such as memory sticks and flash disks, can be treated as a removable disk. Look in the "my computer" folder and you should see a removable disk that wasn't there before. Just copy files to that disk much the same as you would to a floppy or a directory.
If the photos are on your computer and you want to put them on the memory card you need to connect the two. Put your memory card in your memory card reader slot on your computer. Then you can copy and paste or drag and drop the photos to the memory card.
You will need a card reader that will work with your specific card. These are available at almost any computer supply store. You will need to connect the card reader to your computer and insert your card. Once it is inserted, you will need to look under My Computer(Windows) or Finder(Mac) and the card will appear as an extra hard drive.
Navigate through the files on the card until you find your images then select them all [Control+A (Windows)] or [Command+a (Mac)] and copy them to your local hard drive.
*Please note that this is the manual option. Many computer programs such as iPhoto will automatically recognize the card once it is mounted and offer an automated transfer option.
If your computer has a built-in card reader (mine has) - simply slot the card in and wait for Windows to recognise it. If yours doesn't have a built-in reader - you'll need a USB card reader (available form many places) simply slot the card into the reader - and plug the reader into a vacant USB socket on your computer - Windows willdetect it and present you wit suitable options.
Put the memory card into the computer OR link the camera via USB to the computer. Select the photos you want to transfer by clicking one, pressing control(ctrl), then clicking the rest and then click import photos.
use memory card reader :D
On average it should take less than 5 minutes for the photos to transfer depending on your system speed.
If you need to transfer photo files from a computer to a memory card, you can use a card reader slot if available on the computer (specially many laptops these days have card slots) or you can use an external USB card reader to transfer photos or any other data to and from a memory card. - Neeraj Sharma
