You can transfer music from the iPod to any computer, as long as that computer has iTunes.
Sync with iTunes.
There are many ways. I personally like to download music on my computer and then transfer it to iTunes directly with the help of a third-party tool. The tool I use is Tidabie Music Go. This tool can help you download music from multiple platforms, and then in the "Converted" module of the program, you can choose "Export to iTunes". This way, you can directly transfer the downloaded music on your computer to your iTunes account.
You can transfer music from your computer to your ipod by using itunes. You just need to drag and drop the songs to itunes then from itunes to your device. There are also softwares nowadays that can help you do that. try searching the net for it.
Go on Itunes, then plug in your ipod. When it has been recognized, click on your iPod link on Itunes with the right button (right click ), then choose " Transfer Purchased items" and it should load up you purchased songs and apps.

You can transfer music files to any mp3 player (unless the files are corrupt) but you cant use iTunes to transfer them. Only iPods work with iTunes.
