This question is somewhat ambiguous - if you mean, what is the translation of the word "Bible", the answer is "Library", for it is not one book, but many - some 60+.

If the question is how is The Bible translated, then that is a much more involved subject. First, the scholars must determine the most accurate text to use, and where there are several alternate readings for a passage, which is the most probable. Then they translate the text from its native language (e.g. Greek) to modern English using lexicons and dictionaries for the native language as spoken at the time it was written, or lexicons and dictionaries as close to that time as possible. They then have the problem of how to render the literal translation into understandable English. This work is usually done in committee so that the scholars can check on each others approach and conclusions.
