use baby powder. i have a very oily scalp and someone recommended putting baby powder on my roots and rubbing it in then brushing it out, and it works very well! i have to wash my hair every day b/c of oil but i can go 3 even 4 days between washes with baby powder. however, this only a way to control the oil and does not treat it. i do no think there is a way to physically treat or eliminate oil permanently (just like acne) so try baby powder, you'll feel like you've treated it!
