The most important thing to do when treating a hemorrhage is to control the source of the bleeding. Direct pressure on a wound and elevation of affected limbs are essential. Emergency treatment should always be sought first and foremost.
HI there,
Go to your doctor, across here in the UK it is managed conservativley and left to heal on its own. if it becomes a problem with symptoms of fever etc or feeling unwell you may need more aggressive treatment. you need to make sure it is definitley a haematoma!
The main treatment for hematoma is rest, ice, compression, and elevation. You can take over-the-counter pain medications to help with the pain and inflammation of the area.
You put ice on it then heat. It is caused by internal bruises and you need to stop it from bleeding.
I don't know about "cure", but you can help speed the healing of bruises by applying warm packs or compresses for 15 minutes on, then 15 minutes off. Repeat several times a day.
Once the bleeding has stopped, putting pressure on the area can help the blood clot be resorbed. Otherwise, the patient may need surgery to remove the clot.
Small hematomas that do not cause symptoms may not need to be treated. Otherwise, the hematoma should be surgically removed.
