if everthing else works-turn signals, flashers and running lights,then the problem is probably the stop light switch.its hard to get to but i did it with a long skinny screwdriver and flashlights.go buy it for 10 bucks and study it.under the dash pop the lock washer off with a screwdriver.and pull the switch out carefully then unhook the wire harness,you have to have patience.pull the old one out and replace with the new one the same way.set the lockwasher in place and push it back on with your thumb and screwdriver./the switch is located at the top of the brake pedal .if you can touch it then you should be able to remove it.

if the tail lights work but not brake lights then its most likely just a blown fuse or it could be the switch at the top of your brake pedal arm.
If emergency brake is on 1 click it turns daytime running lights off. Pull out on emergency brake handle and see if this fixes the problem.
