How do you troubleshoot rear air shocks on a 1998 cadillac deville I could have a bad switch or pump.?

if you dont hear a low vibrating/humming noise coming from under the car in between the two rear tires when the ingnition is turned on, not the engine, then you either need to check the fuse box for a bad fuse, or your pump is out. I found my replacement pump at a junk yard. (saved me a bundle) If you hear the noise coming from the pump, then you may have to check the level ride switch located on the rear drivers side shock. it will be located on the "leveler box". youll know what it is by comparing visuals by removing the rear passenger tire and looking at the rear passenger shock, that side WONT have one. simply loosen the screw on the box and move up to desired ride height.

They offer non air conversion kits for these air ride vehicles and I have to say I was impressed! My moms old Deville rode like new again! She was happy to save money and I was happy with the time it saved me.
