On the S reg espace it is located at the back left of the petrol or diesel pump its a black Button the size of a milk bottle top.
if you sit at the front of the car the filler hole will be on the right just at the back of the box.

To open the fuel cap on a Renault Espace, first ensure the vehicle is turned off. Locate the fuel cap release lever, which is typically found near the driver's seat, either on the floor or on the dashboard. Pull the lever to unlock the fuel cap, then exit the car and turn the cap counterclockwise to remove it. Always remember to secure the cap back on after refueling.
With Espace bonnet up, look at right side top of radiator. Follow top hose back into the engine compartment. Under the air filter box the top hose joins to an aluminum housing. The thermostat is inside that housing.
I have just sorted this problem myself on my (1996) Espace, the fuse is located under the bonnet, right hand side up in the top is a little Black box fastened to the inner wing it is a small 7.5amp fuse second row from the back...
i have a 54 model and it is behind the non opening sunroof, nearly as far back as it can go.
To reset a Renault Espace from limp home mode, start by turning off the engine and waiting for a few minutes. Then, turn the ignition back on without starting the engine, allowing the vehicle's systems to reset. If the issue persists, check for any fault codes using an OBD-II scanner and address any underlying problems. Finally, restarting the engine may clear the limp home mode if the issue has been resolved.
The sterio in a Grand espace of that era is under the drivers seat! (if it has a CD changer this part will be in the back) It is feasable (just!) to modify it to add a wired input to an iPod - I've done this - but it's not for the faint hearted! I'd recommend buying one of those FM transmitters - far easier.
On my 2000 model it is at the back of the engine under the inlet manifold and its virtually impossible to access the little sucker.
Under the back portion of the center console right next to the srs module for the airbags, you have to nearly remove the whole console to get to it.
