To change the interior map light on a 2007 Honda Ridgeline, first, use a flathead screwdriver or a similar tool to gently pry off the lens cover of the map light fixture. Once the cover is removed, take out the old bulb by twisting it counterclockwise. Insert the new bulb by twisting it clockwise into the socket, then reattach the lens cover by snapping it back into place. Ensure the new bulb is working by turning on the map light before finishing the installation.

Just turn on the map light in the roof console and the glove box light will come on. In 2006-onward (and possibly earlier) the glovebox lights only come on when the headlights are on. Map lights have no effect in my 2006 Espace.

No it does not have a MAF it has MAP
It is really simple. All you have to do is remove the plastic cover for the map light and the bulb is right there. If you put a screwdrive in the middle side fo the clear cover you can pry the cover off and have access to the light. The cover is made to be removed this way so don't use excessive pressure or you might break it.
