Either you twist the headlight pull switch to the left, or if that isn't working there is a small springloaded switch on the door so that when you open the door it comes on. In mine the metal on the end of that switch had worn a small dent in the metal of the door from being closed so much to where the door (even when closed) wasnt pushing that switch in far enough to shut of the interior light. Might want to check for that on both doors if you're having a problem getting it to go off. Hope this helps
