How do you turn dialogue banner off with Charter remote
When watching a movie or television it is important to know how to work the remote. Charter Cable remotes have a subtitle button, that one can push to turn subtitles on and off.
Hi, If the subtitles are included in the program content, you should be able to display the subtitles. All televisions made after 2002 (I think that's about the right year) are required to be able to display subtitles. It's called, `closed captioning`, and you should be able to turn it on and off from your remote control. You can find out how from your owner's manual. Hope this helps, Cubby
Supposing you have a remote to control the light, the remote for the light and the remote for the TV are probably on the same frequency.
My Panasonic had a button on the remote labeled CC which is for captions. To see subtitles, the program has to be made that way and in all presentations will have them on screen.

If you mean subtitles than you have two options #1 you might have a button on your remote which says "subtitles" if you do than you can turn them on that way. #2 when you come to the menu of the video than you can go into "options" or "set up", or something like that. then it should work. :D
On your TV remote in the center there will be a OK button you click on it then AT THE BOTTOM there will be circles with different colors on your TV remote there will be the same circle's the exact same click on the blue button then something will pop up on your TV and finally it will say do you want to turn your subtitles off your TV. This all depends on your TV remote and how it is set up. Most TV remotes have a button that takes you to the menu. Then you look for the audio listing and then for Closed Captioning and turn that off or change the setting.
