On a 1997 Ford Explorer : The push button switch to turn on and off the fog lights is in ( the center stack of the dash , to the right of the radio )
there is a a b on the turn on for your head lights jump a to b and your dah ligts will work this is the box that pulls out for your light

The lights on most newer tahoe's are automatically turned on when you turn the ignition switch. but there is a way to turn them off if youre parked and dont want to be blinding every vehicle that drives by while youre car is still on right? engage the break pedal and the light will turn off. hopefully that helps you out. Answer: The answer above oly works for the DRL's...not the main lights and you need to engage the PARKING BRAKE for this to work, which I would not encourage any one to do. To turn the lights off, just turn the head light switch...loocate don the left side of the dash to the off position. (Turn it left for off) Answer: The dome light button on your switch. Push it in and out 3 or 4 times and they'll shut off.

The duration of Wrong Turn at Tahoe is 1.5 hours.
either dimmer switch or blown fuse If you are saying that the tail brake lights are working but the third brake light is not....It may be a defective turn signal switch in the steering column.
are you sure it is the brake lights and not the tail lights. if it is the brake lights you most likely have a short some where. go to a auto eletrican It is the brake lights which turn on. Short in the switch or the wiring?

Brake lights and turn signals are on a separate circuit from the tail lights. Tail lights are on the same circuit with the dashboard lights. If the dashboard lights aren't working either, check the fuse. If they ARE working, check the headlight switch.
