yes. Lenovo states in the product specifications that there is bluetooth. some versions of the r500 series can only do version 1 of bluetooth and not 2 due to hardware restrictions. The driver for bluetooth is available on the Lenovo website
I dont know exactly Lenovo support told me for my Y560 laptop that it would cost me ~$100 but motherboard replace is better alternative
