on my windstar on the radio i have to press 3 then 5 on my radio hope this helps carolynOn my 2001, when a tape is loaded, the radio automatically switches to "VCR".If yours isn't, look at the control buttons on the back of the VCR console - the top row, second button from the left - try pressing that a few times to switch the radio to the VCR mode.
If a person has to turn on their VCR in order to turn on the TV, then the VCR is working as the input and the output. If you do not want this to happen, disconnect the cables from the VCR and directly connect them to the TV.
Just plug the color coded RCA plugs into the VCR inputs and turn your TV to VCR, Plug in the PS3 power cord and turn it on
Took hook it up the first thing u want to do just hook up the vcr to the tv then u want to put the red yellow and white plugs into the vcr the turn on the tv then turn on the vcr then turn on the x-box 360. make sure that u have your tv on the right channle such as channle 3 or change the tv input.
also need code to turn Phillips vcr on and off. or maybe get codes for a russound universal remote to turn on/off Phillips vcr and vizio television. thanks
There is a button under the top cover that releases the internal part of the vcr player to come out of the console. Even though tape is so "yesterday", I still keep a few in the van for moments of idle entertainment ;) (pun intended!)
Hi !This only applies assuming that this is a cable/antenna tuner not a HD or digital signal .What you'll need to do is find a free input on your tv such as input 1 , 2 , 3 etc . Connect the vcr to the free input using the ouput on the vcr .Then you will hook up your cable/antenna hookup into your vcr's INPUT or LINE IN whatever they call it . Turn on vcr and tv . Be sure to put tv on proper input which would be what ever free input you decided on for the vcr . Then you'll need to turn your vcr to the tuner input . Sometimes you have to press the input button to get there . From that point you will use the vcr remote to change channels .
you can buy a rf converter from radio shack or if you have a vcr you can run the rca cables to th e input on the vcr and output with coax.(make sure you turn the channel on the vcr to the video input channel
Hook the coax feed to the ant in on the first vcr. Hook a cable from ant out on the first vcr to ant in on the second vcr (ant in). Run coax from ant out on the second vcr to the tv. To watch the first vcr you have to turn on second vcr and set second vcr on an input setting. There are other ways to do it with a/b switches and splitters. The above hookup allows you to tape on either vcr at the same time. You may have to use the tv/vcr button in some cases also.
You can find the Quasar TV Combo operating manual on the Panasonic website under operating manuals--type in the model number and it will pull up the entire manual on adobe acrobat...but here's the answer in short...Hold down the STOP/EJECT botton for 7 seconds during stop or power off mode--this same action will also turn the VCR lock back on so that your kids (or yourself) can't use the vcr!
After connecting your camcorder to the input of your VCR with your AV cables (three prongs including red, white, and yellow), put your camcorder on a playback mode. Make sure you have a blank tape in the VCR. Press play on the camcorder and begin recording on the VCR. A VCR stand is not necessary to make a VCR working properly as it is only a piece of furniture used to hold the VCR. A VCR will work as long as it is plugged into the wall and hooked up to a TV.
