the dhs in cadillac deville sedans stands for deville high luxury sedan
Deville high/luxury sedan
Does a 2000 cadillac deville have a 5 x 5.5 lug pattern 2001 Cadillac DeVille 5 lug x 4.53 inch or 115 mm High Positive Offset 2000 Deville is the same.
A bad radio speaker
if you are talking about the ac its 175 to 225 depend on outside temperture
you can use 10w30 unless the milage is very high then use 10 w 50
internal voltage regulator in alternator. Can't overhaul 'em anymore. Replace the alternator
I have the same problem with a 1991 DeVille that I acquired three days ago. The blower worked fine at first, then would not shut off but would vary speed from the dash control. Now it only runs at high speed in the off position. After shutting off the car, the dampers repositions to the heating position from the cooling position. the blower motor has a high amp draw shorting the control module, replace them both!!!!
speed is not the determinig factor. You can use your high beems to improve your vision of the road anytime it is safe to do so. The times it would not be safe is when your high beems blind an oncomin driver or when you are to someone from behind. As you drive more you will learn when the lights are likely to bother someone else because someone is going to bother you. Also, never use your high beems in fog. It may give you a sense that you are able to see better but what really happens is that the fog reflects the light bach at you.
the fan has a high amp draw roasting the control module replace them both!!
If you are talking about a 2000-2005 Cadillac Deville DHS and DTS it would be just a trim level. DHS stands for Deville High Luxury Sedan and DTS stands for Deville Touring Sedan. The DHS had some extra luxury features the DTS did not, but the DTS was still a more pricey trim level with a higher output Northstar V8, 17 inch wheels, floor shifter, bucket seats and a firmer ride. All things the DHS trim or standard Deville trim did not have.
SAE 5w30 any major brand. Use a High Mileage oil if you have over 100,000 miles on the ODO.
I'm having the same problem right now, its my rear rotors. They are warped from the pads heating them to too high of temp. Hope this helps.
Check bulbsProbably double filamented and 1 filament burned out
Find the low side ac port on the 1999 DeVille and connect an ac gauge and freon tank. Start the engine, turn the ac on high, and open the freon valve. Let the freon flow until the gauge reads full.
DHS = Deville High-luxury Sedan
do u mean whow to turn on the flasher. u can't turn them on only the high beems
Take it to a qualified person its not worth letting leak.or if you can find the right hookups turn car on turn air on full high let fill till the gauge is in the good
Personal choice I like the Lincoln for the feeling of luxury I like the Cadillac for the dependability My opinion, for late models: New moden/high-tech, luxury, fashion, faster ->Deville Rear wheel drive->Town Car More budget/will change car soon -> Deville Drive your friends to Airport and earn extra ->Town Car Don't wannt look old ->Deville Good Value buy->Town Car I Owned 94 Deville and 96 Towncar
Idk what exactly u want to know. But i have a 2000 cadillac deville and i put mid-grade in the tank but regular does work fine with no problems. The mpg varies from anywhere between a high 17 mpg to close to 20 mpg because the dash is digital and it changes often depending on your driving. Its not too bad for local driving and the cruise control on mine never worked so im sure by using that you save more gas also. Hope this helped
Connect a freon gauge and freon can to the low side ac port. Start the engine and turn the ac on high. Open the valve to allow the freon to flow until the gauge reads full.
Northstars operate anywhere between 195 degrees at the low end and 240 or so at the high end. Watch your gauge. As long as the needle stays out of the red zone, you're fine.
Connect a freon gauge and tank to the low side ac port of the 97 DeVille. With the engine running and the ac on high, open the freon valve. Shut the valve when the ac gauge reads full.
5w30 motor oil. For high miles car 10w30 is fine. Always use name brand oils, like castrol or penzoil. Never use cheap generic oils in Caddys NORTHSTAR engine.
Check the multifunction lever sounds like "Flash to pass" is not disengaging
