Yes. Just make it a hero chao through it's entire life (including reincarnations) and then follow the steps to make it a chaos chao

Yep, you can get a Chaos Chao in Sonic Adventure 2: Battle! I'll tell you how to get one. First, you need a Chao that has reincarnated at least 2 times (NOTE: This doesn't count for ages, just the "Times Transformed" thingy that the Chao Doctor says when he shows the chart for your Chao). Once it has reincarnated twice, give it ONE of all 21 animals. Don't give it ANY Chaos Drives. You can feed your Chao, too. Depending on who you raise your Chao with will depend on if it's going to be Hero, Neutral, or Dark. To get an Angel Chaos Chao, raise it with the Hero Characters: Sonic, Tails, or Knuckles. To get a Light Chao, raise it with both sides of characters. Make sure it doesn't turn Hero or Dark, just in between. To get a Devil Chaos Chao, raise it with the Dark Characters: Shadow, Eggman, or Rouge. When it evolves, it should be a Chaos Chao.

for a chao to turn a year old is 3 hours in the chao garden. but if your asking how many years a chao can live up to, the answer is 5 years. after that, the chao will either die. if it you mistreated it, or it will reincarnate, this happens when the time for a chao comes but if the chao loved you it will reincarnate and turn himself into an egg to be with you. a chao can become immortal after it reincarnates 2 times. but that is the maximum for the reincarnation stage for a chao. if you have a chaos chao of any kind it will not be able to breed at all.
Can you turn a hero chao into a dark chao?
Yes. After spending 15 hours in the garden (collectively) your chao will reincarnate (if treated well). It will return to egg form and rehatch into a child chao, so that you can start over. It will retain 10% of its stats from its previous life. Also feed it the fruits from the dark garden and give it at least a few dark fruits from the market even before or after it is/turns back to a child chao.

You could have any color of chao. You pet the chao with shadow a lot of times until it turns black. Then you give it green class animals or green chaos drives. I would prefer chaos drives. You make the run 20-25.Then you make the stamina 15-25.then you wait a while and still petting it with shadow only. Then it will go into the cocoon. Then it will look like a shadow chao, but with green strips. You have to keep giving it green chaos drives and more stamina. Then the strips will turn red.

When do chaos transform for the second time in sonic adventure 2 battle?
Chao will only transform once, if you want a certain type of chao there are certain requirements that you fulfill like giving all the animals or giving only specific animals. When Chao reach the age of 5 they will reincarnate or die if they reincarnate they turn into a baby again and then you can retransform the chao into something different when they die there gone forever.
