when a song is playing, there is a bar on the bottom of the screen. move the dot on the bar to the right. if it dosent work, of u hav it all the way up and it is too quiet, you probably have it on lock. go to settings, music, volume controll and put the dot on the bar there to the right. pretty simple
If its the newest version of ipod touch just remove the headphones and turn up the volume.
