finish story mode and go to the forest after you defeat some guys you'll see a secret door. if your doing regular brawls with friends or cpu, who must doing 400 brawls. what I did is do a brawl and once i start it, I quit it. Its faster and easier. and that's the two ways you can get toon link. It should work.
