This only works with

iPod TOUCH ALL VERSIONS

NOT the classic or nanos or anyhtign

PLUG IN TO COMPUTER

Hold lock button, and slide to power off...

Now once it is completly off (wait 2 minutes) close your eyes and do the following

1: Press and hold the lock button for 3 seconds

2: WHILE HOLDING LOCK press and hold menu button for 10 seconds

3:Release the lock button and continue holding the menu button for 30 seconds

release.

The screen will be completly black. Now some things happen with apple logo, so i said close your eyes cause some people think its wrong...

anyway, after thats done, you wil see windows reconise it. After its done installing drivers, open iTunes and click restore under iPod tab, and it will say its in DFU mode.

It will update and all, and it will be reset and new! and unlocked!

How do you get the songs on your iPod to another iTunes?

No, you can not; to connect your iPod to another iTunes, you have to put in their password and connect your iPod to their iTunes. When you do that it will ask if you want to "sync and erase" or "cancel". If you click on "Sync and erase" then all of you songs will be gone and you will have their songs because you can not fuse two accounts. I would recommend that if you and the other person with the iTunes, (if your main reason for wanting to sync your iPod with his/hers is to exchange music) then i suggest that you either use a CD (slow method) or a Flash drive (much faster).
