OK. To unlock the two story cage you have to keep talking to the shop workers. Eventually the head boss will say he's leaving and he will get stuff for the shop. You have to keep checking the shop for new stuff. Be patient he will leave.

Pet_lady: you can also unlock them by breeding your hamsters, but mainly just talk to the pet store people alot, and the third gal,if you talk to her enough you can go to her house to!

u need a boy and girl then u leave ur ds on for like 2-5 night make sure ur ds is on and its plugged in to the charger

you have to keep helping the dogs, catch some animals like the sheep chickens and cows, and some dogs will give you clothes when you are about to enter places like the polar ice fields

sniff around for them

Well when you start you only have the one room but when your dog gets hungry it goes to the kitchen and then all therooms in your house are unlocked.
