How do you unlock daytime mode on slender without beating nighttime mode?

By collecting all 8 pages or you go to your start menu on the desktop, type in the bar below "regedit" Double click on HKEY_CURRENT_USER, Double click on software, Double click on "Parsec Productions", Then Double click on "Slender", Once you have done that click on daytime_h2509695180, then in the value data box, type "1" and hit "OK". Then go to your Slender menu and to extras and you will have all the modes and all the lights.

∙ 10y agoIt is possible to hack the game, by modifying the registry entries where it stores the settings and such for it. 'Registry editing' varies in method on various OS's and I will not profess expertise on doing it for any but windows XP, but the game almost definitely will use the same values, so if you do not use windows XP, just find how to Regedit on your specific OS, then enter the same values to the same entries.
To unlock the other game modes in v0.9.6 (for different versions this may differ, but will probably still be the same) but proceed at your own risk.
1-go to the windows start menu.
2-click on run, then enter 'regedit' in the text box and hit 'ok'.
3-this is the registry editor. be careful, since many important values are in here, and modifying the wrong ones could have fatal consequences. ONLY edit the one I tell you to.
4-navigate to "HKEY_CURRENT_USER", "SOFTWARE", "Parsec productions", "Slender".
5-click on the folder of Slender, to see its registry details. you will see a number of values, these are the game settings. at this point, making a mistake is fairly safe, but still not advised.
6-double click the label "daytime_h2509695180" do not fret if the number string is different, just be sure it begins with "daytime_" then change the value of "daytime-" to "1" without quote marks. then press "ok"
7-double click on the entry "gtd_h193412434" same as last time, and change its entry to "1e". hit ok, and then you can close the Registry editor, and start the game to verify if you did it correctly. the new game modes will be in the Extras menu.
