How do you unlock rockband 2 songs?

You go to Extras, then select modify game, after this select (Enter Unlock Code), and enter the following: Red, Yellow, Blue, Red, Red, Blue, Blue, Red, Yellow, Blue.

But after you select this cheat you can no longer save the game.

All of the songs automatically are unlocked upon purchase of the game in quickplay mode. The only one you have to unlock yourself is The End, which is unlocked upon completion of the story mode.
