after u get him half way you hit him with the hammer. then he starts chasing you with it. u just run around hittting him with projectiles(fireballs/hats) but not to much cause when he starts that spinning hammer attack you must run around the outside of the ring trying to nnot get hit using the long jump when you feels he is to close. when you tire him out pick up kintaro's head and hit him with it. continue to do this until u win.

I Finlay beat shao khan the way i did it is first when you start fighting you have to get away from him and you have to unlock that power where you can throw 3 fire balls by clicking RAPIDLY then when he comes out with the hammer (oh my god i hated this part) what you do is you get away with him by Long jumping away from him i never thought off that and then he gets tired and stops so you throw the fireballs at him and you just keep doing that until he dies lets say this line im gonna draw is the health bar __ that's about how much i had maybe less and guess how much health shao khan had this much _____________ and i used the advice i just gave you guys and i beat him it was intense i thought i was gonna lose well hope this Helped Peace:).....P.S. i haven't tried it with any other characters sooooo sorry

the answer is that u have to use cyrax and when he comes to u u upper-cut him and when he uses the beam bend down then when he trys to use the hammer use the net to catch shao kahn and then upper-cut him thanks for reading. Use Liu Kang and spam the fireball, make sure to keep your distance, you cannot use other people in story mode only Lui Kang, Shao Khan keeps himself wide open when he taunts you and that's your chance to attackk with combos good luck.

you have to beat story mode on expert.you also have to beat challenge tower.last, you have to beat arcade ladder without losing a match performing fatalities on every one.

you can play as scorpion and when shao kahn is throwing something at you, teleport and jump to try to do some combos and if you follow this you will beat him
