Get all skulls to get full Hayabusa armor, as you get skulls you get more pieces (Chest, then shoulders, then helmet) to find the skulls, there are walkthroughs free online thats how i got it. To get the katana (Useless but cool looking) get 49 out of the 79 achievements for 1000 gamerscore.

∙ 7y agoThere are three achievements needed to unlock the scout armor in Halo 3. To unlock the scout armor, unlock the "too close to the sun" achievement.
Too Close To The Sun
Although this is offline advice, it is an offline/online achievement so thought I would throw it out there, even though a lot of you will have done this all ready. At the beginning of The Covenant, you are giving a Spartan Laser, all you need to do is hang onto one shot (I think its 20 "ammo") until the drop ship comes and gives you a warthog, as you go round the corner, there are a few banshees in the air and a checkpoint goes through. All it takes is a bit of timing to hit one of the banshees, and the beauty is, if you miss, you can revert to last save from the pause menu and you are still there.

∙ 14y agoTo unlock armor on halo 3 you need to get the skulls in campaign mode. You can get visual skull locations on YouTube.

To get the Katana as an armor permutation in Halo 3, you need to get 1000gp in the game. The new achievements released for Halo don't affect it. The easyst way to get it is to get all the "old" achivements.

All of the regular armor can be unlocked by beating the campaign on legendary and collecting all skulls. You can get the Katana (sword) on your back be getting the origanal 1000 gamerscore. There's also recon armor, which can only be unlocked if Bungie (the makers of Halo) give it to you.
