Right click on the icon and select the correct command.

you need to go into the properties for the wireless connection and check to box "show icon in notification are when connected". Also check taskbar properties- uncheck "hide inactive icons"

All u have to do is drag a program from the START MENU down to the TASK BAR
First create a shortcut of the program on your Desktop. (Right click on the program icon and navigate to Send to > Desktop) Now go to the Desktop and simply drag the shortcut to the Task Bar.
