The orifice sits between the gas fitting and the evaporator, taking it apart may be the only way to clear the obstruction, but its a closed system, there isn't anything in there big enough to block the orifice.
Assuming "a sprak shot out" means out of the AC unit, then it means whoever rewired it did it wrong. Unplug it and take it back.
