How do you unseparate Aqua Blade paddles that are stuck together?

While wearing sturdy shoes, STAND with your feet firmly together. Place one of the paddle blades between your feet. Bend your knees somewhat so that they FIRMLY grasp the shaft so as to prevent the paddle from slipping out from between your shoes.

Place your hands up in the air on the other paddle blade and twist in one continuous motion in the same direction. As you twist also pull upward. Remember to squeeze with your knees to prevent the lower paddle shaft from lifting off the ground. At first the upper paddle shaft will only twist in place but as you continue it will begin to separate.

Eventually the two halves will come apart. This has worked when other methods failed such as heat, soaking with WD-40, wrenches, and Hercules/Samson couldn't pull it apart.

Clean the shaft of any grit with water and a moist cloth.

Apply synthetic lubricant to the interlocking parts and always remember to clean she shaft after each use with fresh water.
