Grouchy's Christmas tree is the one that you had to place as part of the Christmas storyline. It's the only Christmas tree that was added in the update that you can only purchase once. Once you find it, zoom in on it and tap on the wooden base of the Christmas Tree. It's a bit tricky to hit, but when you get it right a side window will pop up with an upgrade option. (It's a similar window to upgrading a house.) Once you do the upgrade, your Christmas tree will now flash it's lights and have a big star on the top of it for all to see.
In Smurfs' Village, the Christmas tree is a seasonal decoration that players can place in their village during the holiday season. Once the Christmas event ends, the tree may not be deletable because it is designed to remain as a festive reminder of the holiday. This feature encourages players to keep the spirit of the season alive in their village even after the event concludes. Additionally, it may help maintain the game's aesthetic and festive atmosphere year-round.

It's often used to unlock additional features or items, enhancing gameplay and providing new opportunities for customization. Players can also interact with it to complete quests or gather resources, making it a valuable part of village management.
