The movies are on my desktop and I click to upload them and it does not allow me to. The videos are .MOV and I am able to watch them in Quick Time but, I cannot upload to iMovie! HELP!
Visit the URL posted below for a video tutorial on Transitions in iMovie:
Honestly, the direct upload from iMovie is not the best thing to do. It is better to export the video file and upload it directly.
Open iMovie and then open the movie that you want to upload to Youtube. Now, open the iMovie to youtube export screen by clicking File>Export>iMovie to Youtube. In the iMovie to Youtube export screen, set the video clip to upload, the video quality, the title and description to upload, the category and tags to upload, the youtube channel to upload to(optional), the advanced settings and then press the upload button.
You can upload iMovie
Purchase the iMovie app and upload the movie to YouTube.
iMovie is used for personal slide shows, so I cannot tell you how to make an ipod commercial because it is all up to you. Plus, there are different versions of iMovie, such as iMovie 6 HD and iMovie '08, where each version is different from the next in a lot of ways.
They are two completely different apps. Keynote is for making slide-based presentaitons. iMovie is for editing videos.
Unless you have the computers networked, you can't. You'd have to save the slide show on a flash drive or other writable media (such as a DVD) and bring the device to the friend's computer in order to watch it. Alternately, you could upload the slide show to the Internet from your computer and download it on your friend's computer.
You must first upload it to a Servie such as YouTube, Then copy the Link from there and give it to your Friends and family.
You can record movies in iMovie and edit them, or do whatever you'd like. When finished, save it on your computer and upload it to Youtube like you would any other movie. The latest versions of iMovie (from '08 onwards) have a link to YouTube in the Share menu and will automatically prepare and upload the movie for you.
Right mouse click the picture(s) and go to 'save to desktop'. Drag these images straight into iMovie, which will make it a clip (if it can't go directly onto the slideshow editing area, put it into the clips section and then into the editing area).
