When you buy the Hera Pack, it is already working. You wait for the pregnancy to be over, and then when your mare gives birth to her offspring, you get to choose their color. Also you can see that it worked by looking at the offspring's items and skills.
Btw, the offspring is born with high natural skills if both the parents are good racers.

∙ 12y agoGo to the shop, under Black Market is your Hera Pack. Click on that. On the bottom should be a list of horses you can give it to and you can choose to use one in your inventory, click that.

Unfortunately, you can't. It already has an Apollo's Lyre therefore, it has no use for two.
How can you access a horn of gold on howrse... Say if you'd bought a harmony pack and used it on your horse - how do you use the horn of gold on it's companion?
Go to the horse's page (the one that you use the H Pack on) scroll down to where you would click to change the animation there. It should have an icon like a horn, and beneath it it says 'companion' click there.
