Well, you find an egg you want to preserve, and put it in the same farm as the cryo pod. Then, drag the egg on top of the cryo-pod. Then, it'll make a wierd noise and refresh. Then, the egg will be oput of the farm and in the cryo pod, and a red button should pop up on the machine.
