You right click on the dye to change your cursor into a dropper, then click on the piece of armour you wish to dye. This uses the dye up except for the preorder cloud/smoke dyes which have unlimited uses. You can only dye helmets, gauntlets, shoulder armour, torso armour, leg armour and boots. You can't dye belts, shields or arm protectors. Legendary and Set items can't be dyed.
