Facebook is a social network platform that have a high body count, which makes it convenient to connect with another user. No matter where you go, if you meet new friends, you would trade Facebook. Pocodot uses underhand marketing techniques to advertise their site, through fake information, which puts it in a bad light. They say, no press is bad press, but as users realize they cannot delete their accounts, they switched back to what they are familiar with. Pocodot release user data to 3rd party vendors like e-mail addresses and phone numbers, and uses the information of users to further advertise its name on youtube. Because of all the reasons above, users prefer Facebook over pocodot.
This is the term "polka dot" which is just another way to say "dotted" or covered with dots. The implication is that a solid colored area or fabric has round filled-circles of another color on it. Classically, "polka dot" refers to the organized pattern of dancers that would appear in a polka dance, if seen from above.
Pocodot is a new social networking site that has had mixed reviews. Supporters of the site claim that it is a new type of social networking site and is not spam in any way. Pocodot is a site similar to facebook. It is not recommended because after you sign up, you will find out that you will not be able to delete the account and they will sell your information to third parties. The site will also have many advertisments on Youtube in the comment section. I found this out just by making an account. Hope this helps.
It is a new discovery platform that seeks to unravel the known and unknown dots that connect us. A dot is a person, place, or thing. There are a few individuals that have been spreading rumors about viruses and spam with regards to Pocodot - those rumors are false and without merit. Beware of these comments which seek to only misinform and misrepresent the site. Only read reports from reputable news and media outlets concerning spam or scam such as CNN, TechCrunch, Mashable, Engadget, HuffingtonPost, and CNET. If it does not appear on those sites, then disregard the spam and/or scam rumors. To delete you account, I would imagine you would email them at security@pocodot.com. Alternatively, they already have a 'deactivate account' option in the Settings tab. Again, just my own observations.
Pocodot is just like Facebook, the company makes fake usernames so they can advertise on music videos and make them the highest rated comments. Many recommend that you don't sign up for that site, because once you've signed up, you cannotdelete your account. Their mission is to trick individuals into signing up so they can access their e-mail address and hack them.
