I lie detector senses and displays subtle and dramatic variations with in the heart beat. It is not very accurate to just feel somebodies pulse to determine if lyng. If you decide to do so, place pointer and middle finger on Corated artery in neck. Be aware of the steady heart beat you feel. You must approach this with a very serios attitude in order to intimidate subject and make them feel uncomfortable. Maintain steady eye contact with your face within two feet of theres and then ask a few yes or no questions you know they won't lie about, in order to make sure the pulse remains consistent when they tell the truth. Then spike the big question. If they are lying, the pulse rate will increas suggesting subject is anxious or fearful of being exposed. Also look for subtle changes in facial expression when they answer. Signs of lying include facial flushing or persperation. If subject looks down or away breaking eye contact when they answer this suggests they are hiding something. also if subject looks up and to the LEFT when they are thinking of an answer, this suggests they are using the RIGHT side of the brain, or the creative side to confirm they are lying to them selves. Looking up and to the RIGHT uses the LEFT side of brain to access memory or truth. Good luck WITH YOUR INTERIGATIING!!!!!
I was taught in nursing school that both the thumb and index finger have a pulse, so that when taking someone else's pulse, use the middle and ring finger
Your heart rate can be taken at any spot on the body at which an artery is close to the surface and a pulse can be felt. You should always use your fingers to take a pulse, not your thumb, particularly when recording someone else's pulse, as you can sometimes feel your own pulse through your thumb.
The radial artery is used most often for a pulse. But in the case of someone who is not responding the carotid is checked. It is awkward to ask questions when taking a pulse rate at the carotid.
You can file a defamation lawsuit against the person for making false statements about you. In the lawsuit, you can use words such as defamation, libel (if the false statement was in writing), slander (if spoken), and seek damages for harm caused to your reputation. Be sure to consult with a lawyer for guidance on the specific language to use in your case.
Through a text: the person may change topics or use words they would normally not use. They will use detail more often, and that may inclue a few texts if they are trying to give you a 'story' of what happened.
If you're checking your own pulse, you can check either wrist, where you might see the throbbing of the pulse, or either side of your neck, using the minute hand of your watch, for a minute. IF you are checking someone else's pulse, the same principles apply as use above. Just be careful not to use your thumb to check wrist pulses or you might actually be counting your own.
No.. the index finger does not have a pulse... for this reason, when feeling for a person's pulse, you use your middle finger and your index finger (you never use your thumb as it has a pulse)
use your brains
You tell him straight out "NO!" If he doesn't like it, tell him to use it with someone else!
The thumb because it has a pulse of it's own.

A pulse oximeter measures the oxygenation of patient's hemoglobin. To use a pulse oximeter you simply put the sensor on your index finger.
