Add to that the fact that they know people will pay up because Lego is a quality and very expensive toy, and Batman is one of the best, most well known American Comic Book Characters that appeals worldwide. As for Secondary prices, Lego Batman sets have skyrocketed in price because Lego doesnt reissue their sets. they are available for a certain time and then go out of stock/no longer available. Then Lego Lost the licensing for Batman right after the game came out, thus making the future of LegoBatman non existant. They will be making batman movie 3 THEN they will be up for stock.
