Hi! Talkster is great for making international calls. What you do is go to their web site (www.talkster.com) and then you enter your number and the number of the person you want to call, and Talkster assigns each of you free local numbers to call each other. (Where available - if they don't have a local number available in your area, they'll give you a number in the closest area they have.)
Then, when you want to call your friend, you have to make a call that's a bit different than you're used to, but once you get the hang of it, it's easy. You call your friend using your Talkster number for them - when they answer, tell them they need to hang up and call right back, using their Talkster number for you. (They'll know what that number is because they'll see it on their incoming call display, or they'll have gotten it via text message if they're using a mobile phone.) Once your friend hangs up and calls back, then you're connected and you can talk for as long as you like!
