Had this exact problem, lemme guess: you put the 2nd disk in, it takes you to the download screen, you install both of the expansions, you put the 1st disk back in, then you play the game only to find that you never hear about the little island in niben bay, and the prophet outside anvil. Solution is simple...you need a hard drive larger than the default hard drive on the xbox arcade. DOES NOT WORK ON THE ARCADE
To get the expansions in oblivion you need a hardrive for the xbox then you have to download it it tells you how to download the expansion in the manual
get a new 1
It depends on what you mean. You can't unlock areas through game progress. The game doesn't work like that. If you have it on xbox 360, and you have xbox live, you can go to the marketplace and buy expansions such as knights of the nine, shivering isles, and the Orrery or the Wizards tower. You can download them online if it is on a pc, but I do not know the website.
nope, you can buy them but they won't work, you need the base game for any of the expansions to work ..
if it is the knights of the nine or shivering isles the disk is only meant for PC
Yes game or gamestation should have a disc repairing machine to remove most or all scratches from your discs, i got my oblivion and my fallout 3's scratches removed the other day for 2 quid each and they now work perfectly.
depending on what is happening here are possible solutions. download a patch from elderscrolls.com, run it in a different mode or return the game and swap it for a new one. for me to be able to help you better please send me a message explaining exactly what happens to your game so i can send you better info.
It wont work in your game system
Not sure which Sims you mean, do you mean the original game, Sims 1? You need the first game The Sims installed and then you can install expansion packs. It is recommended by Maxis that you install The Sims first (expansions wont work anyway without it) and Makin Magic last.
Often the game disc is scratched and damaged
No they wont work on a SNES.
Oblivion is a Windows only game. It does play fine in XP and W7 while in Boot Camp in 10.6.8
no, expansion packs for the sims 2 won't work in the sims 3
