You have to edge behind them to slide them to the right. First you have to blast the rock, then the wall. The sparking switch will set the explosives off.
To use the explosives:
In the Diamond Mine, there are explosives at the left. (see related question)
The only explosives are at the Diamond Mines. But you don't punch them: you use the switch (which makes sparks)to set off the barrel when it is in position.
Inside the Diamond Mine on Nabooti Island, you must get through a rock wall. There are barrels of explosives to the left side of the elevator. To set them off, you use the shorted, sparking wire from the elevator control. Turn the elevator off, push a barrel across the floor, and then turn the elevator back on, igniting the trail of leaking explosives. You will need to blast twice : once for the rock in your way and once for the wall itself, at far right.
There is no pickax to use. The explosives by the elevator will blast the mine wall, and the White Jewel can be selected by using the magnifier at the bottom right side. (see related questions)

Slide them from the left of the elevator. Be sure to turn off the sparking switch before you do, because that's how you set them off.
The explosives in the Diamond Mine are left of the elevator, as many as you need. You detonate it with the sparking switch (turn it off before moving exlosives).
You use the plan to get around.
