What you do is you stand in a patch of normal grass, not water or long grass, and you cant be on your bike or it wont work. Then you use the pokeradar and patches of grass will wiggle. Walk to those patches of grass and when you step on them a wild Pokemon will appear. Its best to go on the patches of grass that sparkle gold and if your patch of grass sparkles silver DEFINETLY go to it as a shiny Pokemon will be in there, although this is very rare. You can use the pokeradar to help you catch shiny Pokemon by using the technique chaining and you sometimes can only see a certain type of Pokemon when you use it. Hope i helped xx
