Dissipation means to make go away...but it's not gone yet. It rather is like diluting, altering to make so weak that it's not usable as originally intended.

"He spent his evening in wasteful alcoholic dissipation."

"Her morning was casually moved into afternoon engaging in gourmandic dissipation." (Translation? "She stuffed her gut all morning")

I have a good sentence for dissipated!!

He dissipated his time doing drugs when he could be at the fair.

Also it could mean wasteful expenditure so...

"When the man dissipated his money on lottery tickets and lost, no one was surprised when he went into a rage."
