UV lamp (I reccomend a 36W one), buffer, nail tips (if you want to use them), nail tips glue, UV primer (non acid one), UV gel (you can get it in clear, white or baby pink), one or two small flat brushes, alcohol, top coat nail polish, some soak of nail polish or glitter (optional), that cuticle pusher thingy
An item of fruit, a copper penny, a nail and wire. Connect all this up to a bulb and you have a lamp.
we use mercury lamp instead of ordinary lamp because ordinary lamp has many wavelengths when mercury lamp has single wavelength so in constant deviation we use only mercury lamp.

if the nails fall out use nail glue if you don't have nail glue then use a sticking nail polish to keep it in place and not fall out
