When does Alice go home?

Alice goes home when she wakes up at the end of Alice in Wonderland and Through the Looking Glass. In Alice in Wonderland, she goes home during the trial. She has started growing, and frustrated with the ridiculousness of the court's procedure, she stands up to the Wonderland characters who attack her. She brushes them away, only to wake up and discover that her visit to Wonderland was just a dream. Through the Looking Glass is another dream, which she also wakes from to return home. This is preceded by a dinner held in her honour, which becomes more and more peculiar and chaotic until she grabs the Red Queen, who, when she wakes up, turns out to be her kitten.

What information is there about Alice in Wonderland's sister?

Alice's sister appears very briefly at the beginning and end of Lewis Carroll's book, Alice's Adventures in Wonderland, and we are given no information about her whatsoever - not even her name. In Chapter 1 she is reading a book which Alice considers to be very dull as it has no pictures or conversations. In Chapter 12 she tells Alice to wake up and brushes some leaves from her face. She then sends Alice inside to have her tea. We might that the sister is older than Alice, but this isn't explicit. We know that the real life Alice, Alice Liddell, had two sisters, Edith, who was younger and Lorina, who was older, but we can only guess as to whether the sister in the book was supposed to represent either of them.

Does Alice in Alice in Wonderland ever say it was all a dream?

Alice doesn't specifically say "it was all a dream" in either of the books. At the end of the book, Alice's Adventures in Wonderland, Alice says, "Oh, I've had such a curious dream!" and at the end of Through the Looking Glass she says, "You woke me out of oh! such a nice dream!"She then goes on to discuss the dream with her kitten, Kitty, "`Now, Kitty, let's consider who it was that dreamed it all. This is a serious question, my dear, and you should not go on licking your paw like that -- as if Dinah hadn't washed you this morning! You see, Kitty, it must have been either me or the Red King. He was part of my dream, of course -- but then I was part of his dream, too!"In the 1951 Disney movie, she doesn't mention that her adventures were a dream at all, although she does seem to be aware of the fact when the Doorknob shows her herself asleep in the real world. "Why, that's me! I'm asleep," she says, " Alice wake up! Please wake up!" she continues, as though she knows that waking will cause her escape from Wonderland - although she doesn't specifically say this.

What is a paragraph from Alice in Wonderland?

She wakes up. It was all a dream. The final chapter in Lewis Carroll's Alice's Adventures in Wonderland is Alice's Evidence - the chapter which features the trial of the Knave of Hearts. Alice is growing again, much to the consternation of the other people at the trial, and she is angry with the ridiculous way the trial is being conducted. In turn, the King and Queen of Hearts become angry with her, and the Queen orders Alice's execution. The remaining playing cards leap at Alice, but she is very large by this time and she angrily brushes them away...only to wake up on the bank where she had been sitting with her sister. Her sister is brushing away some leaves which have fallen on Alice. Alice recounts her dream to her sister, who sends her inside for tea.The sister then starts to think about Alice and her adventures, about Wonderland and its marvellous characters and how Alice will one day be grown up, maybe with children of her own, who she will delight with fabulous tales, perhaps including those of Wonderland.
