How do you watch movie DVD on iMac?

For pirate DVDs, just put them in the mac ROM and click play.

For protected DVDs, there are two ways to do it:

1) Download a prefessional DVD player to play them directly.

2) Use a DVD converter software to convert them to mp4 or other common video formats.

The DVD player usually opens when you insert a DVD. If it does not you can find the DVD Player in the Applications folder and double click on the icon to open it.

Insert the DVD in the DVD drive on the right side of the screen. Right-click the drive icon that appears on the screen and click play.
